Director of the extra-parliamentary left, he was Parliamentary appreciated by friends and opponents. Rough and gruff, not lose anything, until the 'last, patience and humor. Contradictions? Too. But the "seeding" of the PCI Togliatti (puer robustus malitiosus c) was not really alien to the growth of personality of this type, although the crisis of the party that lived and, to a large extent, promoted.
